Roundtable: Grassroots Peacecraft

Presented research at the OMNI Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology on shared definitions, evidence-based methods, and coordination among civil society organisations.

12 March 2020 OMNI Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas Roundtable & community engagement

The Institute presented at the OMNI Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a civil society coalition.

Even modest progress on shared definitions could make it easier for grassroots organisations to coordinate and to demonstrate the value of their work to external audiences.

The presentation proposed a practical framework for defining and measuring peace. The session introduced methods for building shared reference points and showed OMNI members how definitional clarity helps grassroots organisations communicate their value, attract funding, and coordinate.
